EQUINE VENICE TURPENTINE TO HARDEN & TOUGHEN SOLES

Used on the sole of the hoof to toughen or harden the hoof in cases of soreness or tender-footed horses. In this application, it can be painted daily on the sole of the hoof and topped with brown paper until the desired results are achieved. Venice of Turpentine has also been used for its antiseptic qualities –in such cases it can be applied to rundown and other types of injuries.

In the equine world, Venice or Venetian Turpentine is used to toughen or harden hooves. It can be used as a counter-irritant to promote circulation and new hoof growth. We do caution not to get the hoof or frog too hard as that can cause bruises and abscesses and can retard hoof growth. It can also be used as an effective disinfectant and antibacterial agent. Farriers have used it for split hooves and quarter cracks.

2.1 (c) Return Authorisation:

If you need to return goods to us, please contact us by phone or email to obtain a returns authorisation within thirty (30) days of receipt of your product. Please note that we do not accept returns after this 30-day period.

2.4 Any products purchased cannot be returned, exchanged, or replaced simply because you have changed your mind.

2.5 Our returns policy conforms with the regulations of the Office of Consumer Affairs Queensland.

2.6 Goods damaged in transit or due to faulty manufacture, subject to clause 13.6 should be returned for our inspection.

2.7 Replacement goods cannot be sent until we have received the returned goods.

2.8 We will refund any postage costs incurred in returning faulty goods.

2.9 Subject to clause 13.6 we will gladly refund your purchase if the goods supplied are faulty and we are unable to repair or find a replacement.

2.10 Any refund we provide will be made using the same payment method as used to purchase the goods.

3. Exchange of products

3.1 Gympie Saddleworld & Country Clothing will only accept goods for exchange when the goods are returned in unused condition with all tags and labels attached. The customer is responsible for the postage costs both ways if the product chosen needs to be exchanged. 

3.2 All exchanges will be charged at the usual postage rate when returned to you.

3.3 We do not accept any responsibility for goods lost in return transit.
