GastroAID Recovery (formerly GastroAID Digestive) is Kelato’s ultimate supplement, targeting both foregut and hindgut health, aiding recovery from gastric ulcers and other common digestive conditions.

GastroAID Recovery is unique as it provides therapeutic levels of the “coating agents” pectin and lecithin, which form a barrier over the stomach wall to protect it from acid burn and strengthen the mucosal lining.

GastroAID Recovery is designed for horses with equine gastric ulcer syndrome (EGUS), horses recovering from EGUS, or those under a significant amount of stress. If your horse is prone to developing gastric ulcers, we recommend using GastroAID Recovery during stressful periods.

How does it work?

  1. Moderates Gut Transit Time: Wholegrain oat flour delays stomach emptying to maintain a healthy rate of food passage through the digestive system, allowing for optimal digestion and absorption of nutrients.
  2. Neutralises Gastric Acid: Antacids stabilise (buffer) stomach pH to reduce irritation to the stomach lining.
  3. Coats Stomach Lining: Pectin forms a gel-like layer over the stomach to protect the lining from the corrosive effects of gastric acid.
  4. Strengthens Stomach Lining: Lecithin is a phospholipid that improves the integrity of the epithelial cells to help maintain a healthy stomach lining.
  5. Blocks Harmful Bacteria: Agrimos® prebiotic blocks the colonisation of bad bacteria in the gut, reducing the risk of diarrhoea and disease. It also enhances the body’s immune response to infection.

Directions for use

GastroAID Recovery is safe to feed long-term. GastroAID Recovery is also safe to feed to foals and youngstock at a rate of 50g per 100kg bodyweight (divided over two feeds).

NB – GastroAID Recovery is not permitted within one clear day of racing.

          5. On delivery, the Delivery Agent may require you or your nominated representative to provide them with proof of identity, together with photo identification or proof of age. In the event that this clause is not complied with or no one is available to accept delivery then the Delivery Agent reserves the right to refuse to complete delivery, in which the Delivery Agent may elect to leave a calling card for collection from a local Australia Post office. Where redelivery is required for any reason whatsoever then you may be required to pay an associated fee for redelivery.

Once these items leave our store, we cannot guarantee the conditions they have been stored in, such as temperature, humidity, or exposure to elements, which can affect their efficiency and safety. To ensure the health and well-being of your animals, we have a strict policy of no returns on vet products due to these uncontrollable factors.           2.1 (c) Return Authorisation:

          If you need to return goods to us, please contact us by phone or email to obtain a returns authorisation within thirty (30) days of receipt of your product. Please note that we do not accept returns after this 30-day period.

          2.3 Shipping Costs

          Please note that unless the item is deemed faulty, shipping costs are non-refundable. We will cover the cost of return shipping only if the item is found to be faulty. For all other returns, the cost of return shipping will be the responsibility of the customer.

          We appreciate your understanding as we strive to provide the best service while managing shipping costs effectively.

          2.4 Any products purchased cannot be returned, exchanged or replaced simply because you have changed your mind.

          2.5 Our returns policy conforms with the regulations of the office of Consumer Affairs Queensland.

          2.6 Goods damaged in transit or due to faulty manufacture, subject to clause 13.6 should be returned for our inspection.

          2.7 Replacement goods cannot be sent until we have received the returned goods.

          2.8 We will refund any postage costs incurred in returning faulty goods.

          2.9 Subject to clause 13.6 we will gladly refund your purchase if the goods supplied are faulty and we are unable to repair or find a replacement.

          2.10 Any refund we provide will be made using the same payment method as used to purchase the goods.

          3. Exchange of products

          3.1 Gympie Saddleworld & Country Clothing will only accept goods for exchange when the goods are returned in unused condition with all tags and labels attached. The customer is responsible for the postage costs both ways if the product chosen needs to be exchanged. 

          3.2 All exchanges will be charged at the usual postage rate when returned to you.
