ACTIONS

AMMO Rotational Wormer Paste for Horses is a palatable, broad spectrum benzimidazole (BZ) group anthelmintic with a wide safely margin for use in horses including foals, yearlings, stallions and pregnant mares designed for administration orally by syringe.

AMMO Rotational Wormer contains oxfendazole, which interferes with the metabolic pathways of Intestinal parasites and sterilises worm eggs within 24 hours of dosing, thus reducing contamination of pastures. All horses should be included in a regular parasite control programme with particular attention being paid to mares, foals and yearlings. AMMO Rotational Wormer is ideal as an alternative wormer in a rotational worming program. Consult your veterinarian for a control programme to meet your specific needs.

INDICATIONS

For the control of adult and immature forms of Parascaris equorum, Oxyuris equi, Trichostrongylus axei, Strongylus spp, and susceptible small strongyles and adult Habronema microstoma in horses. AMMO Rotational Wormer kills the tissue stages of Strongylus edentatus and aids in the control of the migrating stages of Strongylus vulgaris (59-88% activity) with corresponding reduction in arterial lesions. A reduction in the prevalence of associated colic could be expected. It sterilises worm eggs within 24 hours of dosing. To control bots, trichlorfon may be administered concurrently. AMMO Rotational Wormer may be administered to sick, debilitated or pregnant animals provided normal care is taken in handling them.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Dose orally in accordance with bodyweight by turning ring to appropriate setting on barrel side of plunger. The contents of one 32.6 g syringe are sufficient to treat one horse of 600 kg bodyweight.

The most intensive treatment program, and to maintain effective levels of parasitic eradication is to worm every 6-8 weeks with AMMO Allwormer and rotate with AMMO Rotational wormer after 12 months. To control bots and tapeworms during this period it is best to give AMMO Allwormer twice in the months of Spring and Autumn for eradication no matter what year it is

Frequently Asked Questions

Do Ariat boots run true to size?

Yes, in most styles. Ariat western boots use standard US sizing — use the international equivalents table above to convert your AU/UK size. If you are between sizes or have a wider foot, most customers go up a half size in pointed-toe styles.

How do I measure my head for a hat?

Wrap a tape measure around your head about 1cm above your ear, where the hat will sit. Match the measurement in cm to the Thomas Cook hat chart above — this covers most Akubra-style sizing too.

What's the difference between mid rise and high rise jeans?

Rise is the distance from the crotch to the top of the waistband. Mid rise (around 7–8") sits just below or at the waist; performance/high rise (8½"+) sits at or above the natural waist. The fit tables above show the exact rise for each jean model.
