SwellDOWN is a clay poultice that quickly takes heat out of inflammation, reducing swelling and overall leg soreness. Can be used on broken skin & easy to wash off.

SwellDOWN’s special mixture of montmorillonite clay and unique therapeutic ingredients has a cooling effect on injuries often caused by hard knocks or jarring. The clay, used as a poultice, draws out heat and reduces swelling commonly generated at damaged sites to aid a more rapid recovery. It is fast, effective and an excellent tightener around knees, ankles and tendons.

SwellDOWN contains NO substances in concentrations that breach the rules of racing.

• After training, trialling and post-race

How does it work?
The combination of wet clay, essential oils and minerals in SwellDOWN has a cooling effect on the skin. Heat produced by exercise or injury is drawn out at a rapid rate, limiting hypoxic (lack of oxygen) damage and reducing the risk of oedema (fluid retention) and muscle damage, thereby aiding recovery.

• Magnesium Sulphate: Delivers the cooling drawing action to lessen pain.
• Potassium Aluminium Sulphate: Works to ‘tighten’ the leg, keeping swelling and inflammation at a minimum.
• Calcium Carbonate: Adjusts the poultice to the correct pH level.
• Oil of Peppermint and Eucalyptus:
• Reduces muscle pain and inflammation
• Creates a cooling sensation; keeps horse is comfortable during treatment
• Antiseptic properties help to disinfect any minor cuts/abrasions present under poultice.
• Glycerine: A humectant (retains moisture) which softens & moisturises the skin. Reduces itchiness.
• Wet montmorillonite clay: Binds the actives together and keeps them wet, so effective for longer.

2.1 (a) We DO NOT offer REFUNDS. We also DO NOT offer exchanges or refunds on SALE ITEMS.

Once these items leave our store, we cannot guarantee the conditions they have been stored in, such as temperature, humidity, or exposure to elements, which can affect their efficiency and safety. To ensure the health and well-being of your animals, we have a strict policy of no returns on vet products due to these uncontrollable factors. 2.1 (c) Return Authorisation:

If you need to return goods to us, please contact us by phone or email to obtain a returns authorisation within thirty (30) days of receipt of your product. Please note that we do not accept returns after this 30-day period.

2.4 Any products purchased cannot be returned, exchanged, or replaced simply because you have changed your mind.

2.5 Our returns policy conforms with the regulations of the Office of Consumer Affairs Queensland.

2.6 Goods damaged in transit or due to faulty manufacture, subject to clause 13.6 should be returned for our inspection.

2.7 Replacement goods cannot be sent until we have received the returned goods.

2.8 We will refund any postage costs incurred in returning faulty goods.

2.9 Subject to clause 13.6 we will gladly refund your purchase if the goods supplied are faulty and we are unable to repair or find a replacement.

2.10 Any refund we provide will be made using the same payment method as used to purchase the goods.

3. Exchange of products

3.1 Gympie Saddleworld & Country Clothing will only accept goods for exchange when the goods are returned in unused condition with all tags and labels attached. The customer is responsible for the postage costs both ways if the product chosen needs to be exchanged. 

3.2 All exchanges will be charged at the usual postage rate when returned to you.

3.3 We do not accept any responsibility for goods lost in return transit.
