For performance horses needing support in antioxidant protection, blood clotting, and red blood cell formation to maintain normal, healthy lung function and optimal oxygen transport during high-intensity exercise.

It is estimated that 75% of racehorses will bleed from the lungs at some stage during their career.

Lung Health Plus was designed to improve the strength and elasticity of the arteries in the lungs and increasing the clotting ability of blood to help repair minor vessel ruptures.

What does Lung Health Plus contain?

High purity Hesperidin included which can play a role in increasing the strength and flexibility on the blood vessels in the lungs

A large dose of antioxidant protection needed to protect the capillary membranes from free radicals which can damage the cell walls.
Vitamin K is a blood coagulant, helping the blood to clot more quickly.
Plays a role in the formation of red blood cells.
PLUS - Organic Sulfur (MSM) is an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties, helping to fight oxidation induced damage to cells. 

PLUS - Grapeseed Extract, a natural antioxidant, may lower blood pressure.


Feeding Rates & Directions

Loading Dose* – 60 g/day

Maintenance dose – 30 g/day

Horses under stress – 60 g/day 

Dose rate based on a 500 kg horse.

*Use the loading dose for a minimum of 3 weeks when the supplement is first introduced. When a horse is in full training, for best results, maintain feeding at 60g/day indefinitely.

  • Feed as part of a balanced diet including ample forage
  • Where possible, divide the daily dose into two meals per day
  • Follow the feeding rates above to provide the correct amount based on bodyweight
  • To assist with lung health, feed all hay at ground level.

Once these items leave our store, we cannot guarantee the conditions they have been stored in, such as temperature, humidity, or exposure to elements, which can affect their efficiency and safety. To ensure the health and well-being of your animals, we have a strict policy of no returns on vet products due to these uncontrollable factors. 2.1 (c) Return Authorisation:

If you need to return goods to us, please contact us by phone or email to obtain a returns authorisation within thirty (30) days of receipt of your product. Please note that we do not accept returns after this 30-day period.

2.3 Shipping Costs

Please note that unless the item is deemed faulty, shipping costs are non-refundable. We will cover the cost of return shipping only if the item is found to be faulty. For all other returns, the cost of return shipping will be the responsibility of the customer.

We appreciate your understanding as we strive to provide the best service while managing shipping costs effectively.

2.4 Any products purchased cannot be returned, exchanged, or replaced simply because you have changed your mind.

2.5 Our returns policy conforms with the regulations of the Office of Consumer Affairs Queensland.

2.6 Goods damaged in transit or due to faulty manufacture, subject to clause 13.6 should be returned for our inspection.

2.7 Replacement goods cannot be sent until we have received the returned goods.

2.8 We will refund any postage costs incurred in returning faulty goods.

2.9 Subject to clause 13.6 we will gladly refund your purchase if the goods supplied are faulty and we are unable to repair or find a replacement.

2.10 Any refund we provide will be made using the same payment method as used to purchase the goods.

3. Exchange of products

3.1 Gympie Saddleworld & Country Clothing will only accept goods for exchange when the goods are returned in unused condition with all tags and labels attached. The customer is responsible for the postage costs both ways if the product chosen needs to be exchanged. 

3.2 All exchanges will be charged at the usual postage rate when returned to you.

3.3 We do not accept any responsibility for goods lost in return transit.
