Description

The "Drover" is a wider brim version of the popular "Cheyenne" western hat. The Drover is a white straw hat with a cattleman style crown. It features a shallow curved 4" brim which provides more protection from the sun than the "Cheyenne" style. Air flow is achieved via three air holes on the side of the crown and a black ribbon hat band rounds out the stylish design. You can always replace the ribbon with one of our horse-hair, leather, or led light-up hatbands to add more flair. These straw hats are light but sturdy. They are lacquered to protect them from water damage, and they won"t shrink after getting wet and are quite stiff and rigid. The wire inside the edge of the brim allows you to be able to bend and shape the hat to your liking. Adults individual sizes (leather sweat band): 53cm, 54cm, 55cm, 56cm, 57cm, 58cm, 59cm, 60cm, 61cm. The individual sizes with leather sweat bands will mold to the shape of your head after coming into contact with some moisture (usually sweat is enough to do the job). For an extra snug fit you can also add some our adhesive foam hat inserts underneath the sweat band.

Exchanges

We offer exchanges within 30 days of purchase. Items must be unused, in resaleable condition, with all tags and labels attached. To start an exchange, use our online returns portal (button above) or contact us within 30 days of receiving your item. We do not accept change-of-mind returns after this period.

The customer is responsible for return postage costs for change-of-mind exchanges, including postage both ways. Exchanged items are sent back to you at our usual postage rate. We recommend using tracked postage, as we cannot accept responsibility for goods lost in return transit. Sale and clearance items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do Ariat boots run true to size?

Yes, in most styles. Ariat western boots use standard US sizing — use the international equivalents table above to convert your AU/UK size. If you are between sizes or have a wider foot, most customers go up a half size in pointed-toe styles.

How do I measure my head for a hat?

Wrap a tape measure around your head about 1cm above your ear, where the hat will sit. Match the measurement in cm to the Thomas Cook hat chart above — this covers most Akubra-style sizing too.

What's the difference between mid rise and high rise jeans?

Rise is the distance from the crotch to the top of the waistband. Mid rise (around 7–8") sits just below or at the waist; performance/high rise (8½"+) sits at or above the natural waist. The fit tables above show the exact rise for each jean model.
