Description

O'Dwyer FHS Flat Hack Shoe - Carbon Steel Horseshoe Set

The O'Dwyer FHS Flat Hack Shoe is a toe-clipped carbon steel horseshoe supplied as a set of four: two front shoes and two hind shoes. Its manufacturing process maintains the web width along the full bar length, providing greater heel coverage than a traditional flat shoe.

Features and specifications

Material: Carbon steel, readily shaped by a farrier
Profile: Flat
Model: Symmetrical
Clips: Toe-clipped front and hind shoes
Section, sizes 1-4: 20 x 8 mm
Section, sizes 5-6: 22 x 8 mm
Size options: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6
Pack: Set of 4, comprising 2 front and 2 hind shoes

What distinguishes the FHS flat horseshoe?

The web maintains its width through the bars to the heels, rather than narrowing as in a traditional flat shoe. Ask your farrier to select the appropriate size and section for your horse.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do Ariat boots run true to size?

Yes, in most styles. Ariat western boots use standard US sizing — use the international equivalents table above to convert your AU/UK size. If you are between sizes or have a wider foot, most customers go up a half size in pointed-toe styles.

How do I measure my head for a hat?

Wrap a tape measure around your head about 1cm above your ear, where the hat will sit. Match the measurement in cm to the Thomas Cook hat chart above — this covers most Akubra-style sizing too.

What's the difference between mid rise and high rise jeans?

Rise is the distance from the crotch to the top of the waistband. Mid rise (around 7–8") sits just below or at the waist; performance/high rise (8½"+) sits at or above the natural waist. The fit tables above show the exact rise for each jean model.

What if I order the wrong size?

No drama — we offer exchanges within 30 days (customer pays postage; sale items are final sale). See our returns policy or start an exchange online.

Can I check a size in store before ordering?

Absolutely — visit us at Shop 1, 107 River Rd, Gympie, or call 07 5482 2320 and we will measure a garment against the chart for you before you buy.
