A unique close fitting hoof boot designed to keep wounds, poultices and dressings clean, and reducing the amount of bandage needed. This boot is suitable for use in the stable and can be used on sensible horses in the paddock. The boot is designed using flexible and light materials to enable easy fitting and as a cost effective alternative to adhesive bandage and tape. Bearing this in mind, exuberant horses and those having undertaken a period of stable rest may damage the boot by standing on it or doing racing stops. In these situations you may wish to consider placing an overreach boot on top of the medical hoof boot or using a more traditional poultice for the first day turned out.

We expect the boot to last 2-3 weeks under normal circumstances with many customers finding they last much longer. The boot is not indestructible and so is not guaranteed against breakage, due to the horse standing on the boot

These boots MUST be a very firm fit - like you would wear a wetsuit. They will almost certainly suffer damage if fitted too big

Featuring a grooved sole for extra grip and a Kevlar® interior for durability, it also has an asymmetric zip to give the boot a really close fit (and prevent it opening), stopping bedding and other debris from getting inside.

The boot may be used with or without a shoe. They can be used on any foot (there is no left/right), although you may need different sizing if using on the hind. It can assist in a number of ailments to the foot such as abscesses, corns, bruised soles etc.

The boot is machine washable at 30 degrees. It is not designed as a riding boot.

Once these items leave our store, we cannot guarantee the conditions they have been stored in, such as temperature, humidity, or exposure to elements, which can affect their efficiency and safety. To ensure the health and well-being of your animals, we have a strict policy of no returns on vet products due to these uncontrollable factors. If you have any concerns regarding the product's condition upon receipt, please contact us immediately at 07 5482 2320 or via email at info@gympiesaddleworld.com.au before use.

2.1 (c) Return Authorisation:

If you need to return goods to us, please contact us by phone or email to obtain a returns authorisation within thirty (30) days of receipt of your product. Please note that we do not accept returns after this 30-day period.

2.3 Shipping Costs

Please note that unless the item is deemed faulty, shipping costs are non-refundable. We will cover the cost of return shipping only if the item is found to be faulty. For all other returns, the cost of return shipping will be the responsibility of the customer.

We appreciate your understanding as we strive to provide the best service while managing shipping costs effectively.

2.4 Any products purchased cannot be returned, exchanged, or replaced simply because you have changed your mind.

2.5 Our returns policy conforms with the regulations of the Office of Consumer Affairs Queensland.

2.6 Goods damaged in transit or due to faulty manufacture, subject to clause 13.6 should be returned for our inspection.

2.7 Replacement goods cannot be sent until we have received the returned goods.

2.8 We will refund any postage costs incurred in returning faulty goods.

2.9 Subject to clause 13.6 we will gladly refund your purchase if the goods supplied are faulty and we are unable to repair or find a replacement.

2.10 Any refund we provide will be made using the same payment method as used to purchase the goods.

3. Exchange of products

3.1 Gympie Saddleworld & Country Clothing will only accept goods for exchange when the goods are returned in unused condition with all tags and labels attached. The customer is responsible for the postage costs both ways if the product chosen needs to be exchanged. 

3.2 All exchanges will be charged at the usual postage rate when returned to you.

3.3 We do not accept any responsibility for goods lost in return transit.
